Q. Do I need to activate the surface of the cone?
A. Yes, the hydrophilic surface of the cone needs to be activated before use. To activate the slippery coating of the cone, wet the tip with tap water.
Q. What temperature should the water I use for my irrigation be?
A. Use lukewarm (36-38° C) tap water.
Q. Do I have to empty the tube of air before insertion?
A. No, there is no need to empty the extension tube of air before insertion. The small amount of air (less than 15 ml) that is in the tube won't make a difference to the irrigation.
